Factually  Nonfactual

It is said that, people change over time.
But I perceive that, situations cause the variation.
It is said that, torments resolve with time.
But, I discern that ain't part of eventuality.
It is said that, time heals everything.
But I ponder, when will that time commence.


It is said that, love is the pre-eminent medicine.
But I discover that, surplus ends up in sufferance.
It is said that, love is a part of one's life.
But I devise that, it is not necessarily to be.
It is said that, holding on makes one resilient.
But I realize that, letting go avails even better.


It is said that, never give up on your true desires.
But I sense that, destiny is all that manifests.
It is said that, fate can be rephrased by one's will.
But I find that, it is perverse to flee from it's edict.
It is said that, if you believe you can achieve.
But I feel, even faith is impotent when one's broken.
