Her Shattered Soul

The moment he disowned her, she was breathless,
Heedless of the strategy to persist until death.
Being sworn to be part of his life entirely,
His negation was certainly disgraceful.

The pretext behind each time she spotted him,
She appraised herself blessed to have met him.
Being oblivious of having no future together,
As two contrasting dismal paths awaited them.

She compromised with her livelihood which dejected her,
As his presence was never to be anticipated anymore.
But she concluded to move on with the flow,
Though her soul still yearns for their unity in paradise.
